The capstone project is a project-based course which consists in evaluating the climate action plan of a partner institution (city of Paris, company or other partner), based on a list of subjects proposed in the beginning of the academic year.

 

Assessment: written report (applied master's thesis) and oral presentation (slides).

The capstone project is a project-based course in which students conduct a scientific study to evaluate the climate and sustainable action plan of a partner institution (mainly Paris), depending on the list of subjects proposed in the beginning of the academic year .

This scientific group project aims to develop students' ability to:

  • Define and manage a scientific or technical problem as a team.

  • Apply disciplinary knowledge in a real or simulated research environment.

  • Use scientific methodology to explore, test, and validate a hypothesis.

  • Communicate findings effectively, both orally and in writing.

  • Collaborate within a team, delegate responsibilities, and respect deadlines.
