This course offers students learning activities that enable them to acquire the

written and oral comprehension and expression skills corresponding to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (see details below).

The objective is to strengthen their knowledge of the language. By the end of the course, students will have acquired intermediate French language skills. Students must be able to master language communication skills in simple and complex situations.

This is an intermediate French language course in which grammar is studied in a rigorous and in-depth manner. The aim of this course is therefore to strengthen and develop language skills and to deepen knowledge of French and Francophone culture:

1- Reading comprehension of different types of documents (articles, letters, novel excerpts, etc.)

2- Review and acquisition of grammatical, lexical, syntactic, stylistic, and idiomatic structures

3- Oral expression: pronunciation, spontaneity, fluency, narration, argumentation, language registers

4- Oral comprehension: based on authentic documents (radio or television programs, interviews, audio messages, etc.)

The sessions are organized around themes reflecting aspects of life in France,

French customs, and cultural life in France (current events, how society works, etc.)
