The ecological transition is now a major challenge for all economic stakeholders, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized enterprises (MSEs). While aware of their environmental responsibility and the climate emergency, these organizations often face a challenging reality: the lack of human and technical resources to initiate and manage a structured ecological approach. However, without appropriate support, many SMEs struggle to translate their commitment into concrete and sustainable actions. This is why it is essential that they be supported by experts in ecological transition. These professionals can help them establish an environmental assessment, define a realistic climate plan, and identify priority levers for action, consistent with their resources. Promoting this support gives SMEs the keys to becoming full-fledged players in the ecological transformation, while strengthening their resilience in the face of future challenges. In this context, the Energy4Climate (E4C) center and Bpi France are partnering to support SMEs and MSEs in their ecological transformation through a student consultancy mission, called E=MC2 (Students = Climate Activists and Consultants, which in French is Etudiant.es = Militant.es et Consultant.es pour le Climat), which is the subject of the proposed training. Short videos provide an overview of the concept:
