Enrolment options

The course is designed for students who have never studied Japanese or have studied little. The objectif is to understand expressions in daily life and to enrich vocabulary in order to convey better simple or common topics to interlocutors. Students practice dialogues in fixed or free contexts. In addition, the course is adapted the reading and writing of simple texts. Students learn two syllabaries (hiragana and katakana) and then approximately 40 kanji during the year. The program will lead to the level A1-A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). This allows students to take the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) level 5.
